As a man who was graduated from English Department, why cannot I write as good as these articles? Why cannot I write as long as these articles? You, people, may ask the same question to this person, and to him.
Why should the question be asked to me? Why should the question be asked to us? Me, we, are older than him and him. We should have had more experience and knowledge than they should. We should have had written better and more posts. Unfortunately, we cannot do it!
Is this showing our incompetence? Is this fact showing our lack of knowledge? Or, it is just showing that we are not interested to write theology? Moreover, we do not interested writing in English?
I do not think that we are not interested in. Especially for me, I always want to write in English. I want to write about everything, not just about religion or theology. Nevertheless, it is not easy at all. In addition, I do not reading English everyday. This may cause my ability to write and read English is decreasing. How can I have good output while I do not have good input?
The same case may appear to him. However, we must have no questions about writing ability of this man. I can assure you that he is truly unable to write English post, and if he can, the post will not contain more than one paragraph. I do not understand why could he be accepted in English Department. *Rush away as fast as I can!*
I feel ashamed! As a graduated person from English Department, I cannot show my ability and my quality. As a person who was studying English intensively for more than four years, I have very low quality of writing ability.
This is not only about me. This is about all of my former friends in campus. Can they write in English? If they do, are the results having good quality? At least perfect grammar correctness?
Are we showing our lack of ability? Alternatively, we are just the mirror of bad input. On the other hand, we are having bad English because we are not educated and trained well. The last probability is we were so lazy studying English when we were taking every single subject, but I think this last reason is truly, deeply illogic! How can I be interested in out of date teaching style? How can I read and write if I feel so uncomfortable when I was studying? How can I write good English works (output) if I did not get enough knowledge (input)?
